Organizing servers with clusters
Clusters allow you to organize groups of servers into categories that suit your needs. For example, you might want to group servers that support an app, or group servers belonging to a particular client, or group servers based in a particular data center.
To view your existing clusters, click the clusters link in the site menu. The interface is very similar to the server management page, so you should feel right at home.
Creating a cluster
The process for creating a cluster is extremely easy. Click the create button, supply a name and hit save. You will then be automatically redirected to the edit page.
The header contains a summary of your cluster, how many server nodes it contains, and the overall status of the cluster at the time the page was rendered.
Adding servers to a cluster
To attach a server to a cluster, click the 'Add Server' link in the cluster header, enter the name of a server, select the correct one in the list and hit save.
A server card will appear exactly as on the server management page, allowing you to see the key details and granting an easy means to click through to the server itself.
Removing a server from a cluster
To detach a server from the cluster, click the red trash can icon on the server card. Note that this will remove the server from the cluster, it won't delete the server itself.
